Message Board and Calendar
The Message Board is one of the most important features of CaseHomePage. It allows the court to communicate with counsel, counsel to communicate with the court, and each other, either formally or informally. This interactive medium benefits both the judge and attorneys, resulting in substantial time and cost savings for everyone involved. A simple email message on the message board can often obviate the need to submit a formal pleading, appear in court, or make numerous phone calls. The court and all members may post notices directly to the Message Board.
The Calendar, updated by counsel, allows all parties to quickly track important dates in the case. Deposition dates, court hearings, and other significant events can be followed at a glance. All members may make additions to the Calendar, and the Calendar may be viewed either in the monthly, weekly or daily format. It is suggested that the liaison attorneys for the plaintiffs and defendants be designated to maintain the Calendar for the benefit of all.
